IWWA is a non-governmental association (nor political or religious, as they like to say) founded by twelve members in 1993. Their main goal is to see the women of Kilombero and Ulanga, two districts in the Morogoro region of Tanzania, becoming self-reliant and working to reduce poverty in the area. Their dream is to see them contributing to the economy of the region and promote gender equality.
